Return, Exchange, Preorder and Shipping Policies
Preorder
Hip Baby is pleased to offer preorder for some items of in-demand brands before the next season starts. Preorders are advance purchases for items to ship at a later date, made with the understanding that the sale is completed and there are no cancellations. Your card will be charged 50% of the sale price at the time of ordering and the remainder will charge when your order ships. If you pay by PayPal, the full amount must be paid upfront. Shipping dates are estimated, and preordered items will ship on arrival at Hip Baby. In the event that the item is not produced or shipped to Sunshine's Hip Baby a full refund will be promptly made in like tender. Exchanges will be allowed as long as there is a correct-sized item in stock. Preorders are purchased especially for you our treasured customer and fellow fan of children's fashion, therefore all sales are final with the exceptions above. You will be the first to show the new fashion of the season to your friends and acquaintances!
Special Orders are taken for items we can get for you but don't stock in the store, for example larger sizes or different colors. We are happy to offer this service to our customers with a 50% non-refundable deposit. If you do not pick up your order within 30 days of notification that it has arrived, Hip Baby reserves the right to sell your merchandise to another customer. Because we are ordering these items specially for you, deposits are not refundable after the item has been ordered. This includes changes of mind or circumstance. Personalized items are paid in full up front and are not returnable.
Return Policy
Items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receipt, with a few exceptions. (Hip Baby must receive the item within the 30 days.) The item must have its original tag attached and/or be in its original packaging and must be in saleable condition. Please call Hip Baby at 888-447-7895 to receive a return authorization number. Your return may not be accepted without authorization. Ship the product to Hip Organics' store with a copy of your receipt, a letter detailing the problem and any exchange request (i.e. which size/color you would like or listing exchange item). Please include your email address, so that we can issue you a Credit. For shipping details or information or if you believe you have received a defective product, please email sunshine at sunshineshipbaby.com or call free 888-HIP-STYLE. Refunds will be issued in like payment type to the original purchase (paid by Visa, for example, will be refunded with a Visa credit). For exchanges, return the items as above, and a Credit Code will be issued that can be used in the payment area of the website. You may simply browse for your replacement item, checkout with the Credit Code, and we will pay the shipping on your replacement items.
Exceptions: Custom, personalized and special order items are not returnable or exchangable. Swimwear, hair accessories, hosiery and underwear are nonreturnable for health reasons. Sale items are returnable for exchange or store credit only. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Holiday items must be received at Hip Baby at least ten (10) days before the holiday. For example, Christmas items, including special occasion dresses, must be received at Hip Baby no later than December 14. Clearance items (any item discounted by 30% or more) and as-is items are not returnable. Shoe returns will also include a gift certificate for the amount of return shipping with free shipping of your replacement shoes.

Shipping
We ship using the fastest, most practical method. Usually, that means USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground and occasionally USPS First Class is fastest. If you choose USPS Priority Mail at checkout and your package qualifies, we may ship it using First Class Mail. Express Mail is now available. Express Mail is "urgent delivery," usually one day. This is not a next day guarantee. If you have special needs or time constraints, please contact us toll free at 888-HIP-STYLE or via email at sunshine at sunshineshipbaby.com.
We will ship to FPO/APO addresses, but: please be aware that shipping times are variable and delivery confirmation is unavailable. USPS says that delivery of Priority Mail to an FPO/APO address takes about 2 weeks, which I read to mean 3 weeks. Packages may not be tracked, therefore if a package is lost in the mail, it is to be returned to sender (Sunshine's Hip Baby). Needless to say, there are no guarantees with this shipping method.
We ship worldwide using USPS Global Priority if your credit card is drawn on a U.S. bank or if you pay using PayPal. Shipping costs are based on weight, but average packages usually cost between $20-$25 to ship. Please call customer service to order: 888-447-7895 xt 1.
